The typewriter itself is in good used condition with areas of wear and marks to the bottom plate. It appears to be in good working order, and the keys move freely etc. It would benefit from a service, and requires a new ribbon.

The keys are made of glass. It was made by the Royal Typewriter Co. This fantastic typewriter also features an extra long carriage, perfect for typing with papers of various widths. This particular model was announced on February 10th, 1949.

While the keys work - see video attached - it would benefit from servicing. A used ribbon is currently installed so you can type straight away. I have also been unable to locate the internal serial number stamp, which is common on these later portable models.
