Each beam we make is unique due to the nature of oak so checks, knots, colour and grain pattern may vary. As your beam adjusts to your room temperature further checks (cracks) may appear. We cannot treat checks as a defect.

This Oak Beam Fire Surround was hand made by a friend who is a carpenter. Crafted from solid oak with a height of 105 cm and a depth of 19 cm, and top width 141cm this surround is designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in any room. It has been treated with a light coat of dark oak Briwax.

This is a large piece of wood, are place mantle. It will need some work to clean up please see pictures, it is shaped 2.94 M long 22cm deep 34cm tall and 26cm at the centre lower point. I have no idea of age but suspect it is very old. This is collection only from IP25 6SJ

Greenheart is denser and stronger than Oak and has wonderful resistance to virtually everything, including seawater. Can be left as is, in its original rustic state or can be sanded for a more polished finish, it takes Danish and other oils beautifully.
