This is a very interesting ride cymbal. It’s not a “quiet cymbal” like those that are used for practice, it’s a fully playable and complete sounding actual ride. It has some holes to quell specific frequencies that are harsh on the ears, resulting in a quieter perceived sound which is easier to control. Ideal for smaller venues, churches, rooms with lots of reverb, drummers who need to reduce their sound output without compromising their full swing, drummers who want to make sound engineers happy, etc… It’s in excellent condition and I rarely played it.
