It is a stunner of a player, and has a beautiful and vocal sound. The tuning scale is very good and the horn sings from top to bottom with ease.

Early Adolphe Sax alto Saxophone made by Selmer, Paris, which was completely overhauled in Nov 2022 with complete set of new pads. Plays beautifully. Original Hard case has some external wear. Receipt of over haul included (£450) Early serial number 169 Comes with original Selmer mouth piece. Condition is good for age, Small bumps and scratches consistent with age and use. The horn has no soldering jobs, and the neck has a great angle and has never had any pull down. It does need a full overhaul to be in playing condition. I believe it is a very early factory relacquer judging by the dark honey colour of the lacquer and the sharpness of the engraving.

Selmer MkVI Tenor 1970 . Fantastic silver plate . Plays amazingly well and is set up very nicely . The silver plate gives a big big sound . Lovely core and the intonation is tight . This is the same year as my personal MKVI . All ready to go . There is some plating loss on the body where possibly some posts have been repaired but this horn is in good order . Comes with a very cool selmer case with room for a soprano and a clarinet .
