A late Victorian 3 circle frame sextant, boxed with 3 scopes, and adjusting tool. Supplied by W Stenton, Newport, Monmouthshire which is engraved on silvered scale. External tang on one of the wooden case latches missing, see picture. A very interesting and rare instrument in good presentable condition.

Cased in its original mahogany box to appears to have all it's original accessories It even still retrains the tommy bar for adjusting/ changing the mirrors. The icing on the cake is that we know it's original owner, twice decorated WW1 naval hero Captain Leighton Leith DSO,CMG, 1876-1940.
