This painting expresses the feeling of the Jew in Italian diaspora who preserves his roots. The Mole Antonelliana (symbol of Turin) was initially designed as a synagogue for Jews. The initial project, however, was abandoned. Every time I observe this panorama at sunset, this landscape inspires this painting in me. The beauty of the Alps, the night lights of an Italian city and the Jewish soul that wants to sing and blow the shofar.

Very interesting piece, do not know a lot about it. Appears to be Jewish with the shofar and doves, possibly a wedding plaque-not sure. Has some weight to it There is writing on back see pics

Here is a pair of vintage Judaica brass bookends that have the image of a man blowing a Shofar. On the back they are marked Made in Israel. They measure about 6 inches high, about 4 inches across the widest point and about 3 1/4 inch front to back at the base. Both have some patina and spots from age. The felt at the bottom of the base has wear from use and the top of the base has scratches in the brown paint.
