Silver Panda Typeset 2014, 2015 & 2016 Silver 0.999 Chinese Panda Coins The People's Republic of China began minting the bullion Chinese Pandas in 1989. From 1989-2014, the primary denomination (10 Yuan) coin was stamped "1oz Ag .999" on the reverse of the coin (Panda side). In 2015, the 1oz coin weight was not identified on the reverse. And then in 2016, China switched to denominating their 10 Yuan coin in grams instead of troy ounces. The 2016 coin has its weight stamped on the reverse "30g Ag .999" making it a slightly (3.5%) lighter coin than the 1oz 2014 and 2015 coins. This typeset contains one each of the 2014, 2015, and 2016 coins representing the gradual change to metric measurements by the People's Republic of China. Coins come in their mint supplied airtites and are uncirculate.
