Carafe is about 10.5" tall to the tip of the lid. Silverplated Pitcher/Carafe. with Cut Glass and an ornate face spout. For the most part, it is barely felt by hand, so I think it did not crack all the way through.

Very rare Pairpoint jug from around 1890. It has catalog number 2070 stamped on the base. The cranberry glass element is in perfect condition and the plated structure of the jug is sound and in good condition for an item 130yrs old.
