    This silver vinaigrette is thought to be hallmarked in Birmingham,it has a date letter for 1814.The vinaigarette has the makers mark J.W which is the prolific silversmith Joeseph Willmore (1773-1855) of Bread Street, Birmingham England.The complete interior is beautifully guilded,the perforated inner hinged lid is hand engraved with a complex leaf pattern.There are no dents or dings only slight exterior wear due to it's age. The pair of letters EL are engraved on the oval cartouche, on the lid.The vinaigrette measures-length 35mm x width 25mm x thickness 10mm.
