Here is a beautiful example of the iconic Singer 221k Feathweight sewing machine. A favourite with Quilters and other sewers Manufactured on 28th December 1948 in Scotland. Serial number EE916940 It has been cleaned and oiled. It purrs along lovely. Sews as expected of these timeless creations. Looking at the condition of the decals it looks lightly used. The only blemish is in the folding sewing ‘table’ where an area has been touched up. Near the needle plate. As can be seen in the photographs. Reflected in the asking price. Rubber feet , not surprisingly, showing their age. 5 bobbins. Electric light works The machine will be extremely well wrapped and padded. Double boxed. Viewing and demonstration welcomed.
