Vintage Smith-Corona Sterling Portable Typewriter Silver w/Case PARTS/REPAIR (The typewriter has a nice action. The keys all play and return pretty well. Some more use will help them perform even better. The big issue is the advance feature. When a key is pressed, occasionally the paper will not advance a space. The tab key seems to help get the machine advancing again but it does not always work. This is beyond my skills for repair so I am offering for a good price to someone who can fix it.

A Smith-Corona Sterling, I believe it is a 1940 model. The carriage moves OK, the paper though does not want to feed well. Not all functions wear tested, will probably need a new ribbon, though the few letters typed looked good.

Vintage Working tested Black Smith Corona Sterling Typewriter Floating Shift w/Case. Condition is Used. Shipped fast. Case has damage and will not lock closed as it is missing the pins to do so. Types well ribbon ink still dark. Needs s little TLC maintenance check and restore cleaning oiling and a general cleaning to get it to tip top shape. Plesse check out àll of the photos.
