A beautiful vintage carved stone pot, dating from the 1970s–80s, most likely Cornish soapstone or serpentine. This small decorative trinket box / perfume pot is finely hand-carved with floral and scroll designs, measuring approx. 3.5cm tall. Bought by my mother in Cornwall in the early 80’s. Inside is the original solid perfume balm, still partly intact and retaining a gentle fragrance after all these years – a rare survivor for collectors of vintage perfume and Cornish souvenirs.
