The Lindy 70m Cat.6 4 Port HDMI IR Splitter Extender is a simple to use plug and play solution that allows users to extend an HDMI signal up to 70m and then distribute that signal to four displays using low cost Cat.6 UUTP cable (not included). For added convenience IR signals (20 60kHz) can also be extended using the supplied IR receiver and emitter cables. Supporting resolutions up to 4K30, including 1080p 3D, the Splitter Extender is designed for use in AV and digital signage applications for a variety of settings such as home, education, business, retail and healthcare. An integrated HDMI loop through output on the transmitter unit enables simultaneous viewing so that a local display can be connected for monitoring, or to create an additional viewing zone. Power over Cable (PoC) functionality provides power for the complete installation using only a single power supply connected to the transmitter a perfect solution for retro fit installations where receivers may be located away from a mains power supply. The power supply is connected via a screw type DC jack, providing a secure and reliable connection, ideal for installations where accidental disconnections could occur. For added convenience the Splitter Extender s slim design and integrated mounting brackets make it easy to install in limited spaces behind modern flat screen displays. Please Note: The quoted resolutions are possible with a direct connection between transmitter and receiver using good quality Cat.6 solid core cable. Using a different cable type, introducing wall plates, couplers or patch panels will result in a reduction of maximum distances.
