I think this has probably been quite well-used. Various small scuffs and marks to the barrel. The underside of the barrel is brassed/polished and smooth from having been held in the hand a lot. There are no real scratches to the glass that I can feel with the back of a fingernail, but there are lots of small "cleaning" type coating marks that can be seen in the correct light (image 5).
