Here are steps to mount the battery grip to the camera. Firstly, switch off the camera, and remove the battery pack from the camera after removing the battery cover. Then, mount the battery cover onto the battery cover slot on the grip. Lastly, mount the grip to the camera via the guide bar and tighten it with attachment screws. The battery grip is mounted on the bottom of the digital camera and tightened with attachment screws.
