You'll get the cd player and the cd, no batteries. I've found these 2 issues, otherwise would be a great cd player. And it's not the cd as the cd I've tested, about 5 CDs, were new.

A very cool MiniDisc-era setup with great sound and loads of display appeal. We’ve used it ourselves and it sounds lovely on MiniDisc, FM and other sources. MiniDisc, FM and other inputs have been working for us, but due to the CD not working issue this is soldstrictly as parts / not working.
