A beautiful birthing chair. When I bought it, I assumed it was African, as that's where I've seen them made before. When I've researched, it looks like it's Spanish. Still a Birthing Chair, but Spanish, rather than African. I believe it's 1940-60s in age, based on a design from the 1800s!
