Split Cane Spinning Rod WEIR PRODUCTS 2 Piece 9’ with Bag Vintage and used so not pristine but still in good condition. Shaft is straight and true with only minor cosmetic scuffs from use. The handle, fittings, and eyes are in good condition. The whipping is in generally decent order but has one small piece of decorative whipping missing and has been rubbed in three places so these would benefit from a dab of varnish. (See photos). The bag is unbranded, has two pockets and is in good condition.

A good example of this rare B James & son Avon Perfection rod. As you can see from the images, although it is complete and useable, there is some wear and tear visible, especially in the middle section. The Rod is essentially sound but could use some tlc and would be an excellent restoration project. Either way, it would make an excellent addition to any fishing tackle collection. It comes in a cloth rod bag, which I suspect is of its era but not the original. The bag is in poor condition, so i will try to find a suitable replacement before dispatch. If you have any questions, please ask. The rod will be dispatched in a solid plastic tube. Please note my dispatch time of four working days.
