This is a Stanley Sweetheart No. 2 Type 8 Plane made by Stanley from 1899-1902. It has long been a collector’s favorite, second only to the tiny Stanley No. 1 in its appeal among bench planes. The cutter has a Stanley "Sweetheart" logo.
