This is a Guarnerius copy, hand made in Germany pre-WWII. Most of the visible scratches/marks are underneath the varnish and so are very old. Fingerboard, pegs and chinrest are like-new. The join between the backplate waist, backplate lower bout and rib on the left hand side requires re-sealing (note the "white" degraded adhesive in this joint).
