Super-Takumar 50mm f1.4 This is the thorium glass version and retains its slight tobacco tint, though this can be reduced or eliminated by exposing to UV light. This M42-mount lens is in excellent condition mechanically and optically. There are small scuff marks on the focusing ring. The glass is fungus, dust and scratch free. The 6-bladed aperture works smoothly and there is no sign of oil on the blades. The rear lens cap is marked Takumar Japan and the front cap says Asahi Pentax. If you are buying from outside the UK you may be liable to pay import duty to your country.
