I have owned this lens for the last 4-5 years and was massively impressed as a Canon alternative I have regularly cleaned it and have kept it in really good condition. Have always used it with the lens hood on As you can see in photos the front glass is pristine. The only marks are a light scratch on the focus display & a couple little marks on the lens hood (which is to be expected with any used lens) This was a perfect starting telephoto lens for me in use with wildlife, landscapes and motorsport Sold as seen.
