The mix can be adjusted to wet only which is pretty useful. (Fitting a new tape is easy there are plenty of videos on YouTube that show how to splice 1/4 tape).

The unit powers on and the tape turns, but the echo effect is not working, it works as a preamp and the signal goes through, but no echo. It has 4 delay settings Short to Long that can be used in combination as well for more of a Reverb effect.
