A romantic comedy and satire starring Marisa Tomei, Jimi Mistry and Heather Graham. Raimu Chandra Gupta (Mistry) arrives in New York from India with dreams. Having been brought up on a diet of Bollywood and Hollywood, Gupta's ambition is to become a big star as a dancer but finds things tough in the Big Apple. His first job is as a waiter in an Indian restaurant but his break comes when a party entertainer falls ill and Gupta fills in.
