It is then left to dry for another three years before developing its signature note, a blend of dust, wood and violet. It is then ground and distilled. Only after this time-consuming and labor-intensive process is the majestic iris resurrected. A journey that reflects the history of the land where Iris Nazarena grows. The soft, suede petals of the mystical iris muse are outlined in a subtle gradient of brown, purple and white. Ambrette sheds the tender light of dawn on the top notes, rose adds a touch of floral sensuality and the fresh, vibrant green of star anise evokes the flower's stylised stems and leaves. Resinous juniper berries, patchouli and vetiver hint at its roots, embedded in the earth and dark rock, while the sacred smoke rising from the altars weaves its mineral and leathery tendrils throughout the development with cloves, oud and incense.
