Echoes of empire are brought to life in this grand collection, inspired by an antique trunk that Tim bought at auction in London, once belonging to Prince William Augustus; the Duke of Cumberland and youngest son of King George II of Great Britain. The prince is best remembered for putting down the Jacobean rebellion in 1746, aided by the Manchester Regiment. Timothy Oulton’s Cumberland collection is crafted with the same exquisite attention to detail as the original trunk, from the dense lamp-black patina of the leather to authentic vintage brass hardware and red velvet lining.

This freestanding bookcase stands at a height of 260cm and has a width of 67cm, with a length of 250cm. With six doors, this brown-coloured bookcase is designed to add a touch of elegance to any room with its classic design. No additional parts are required for assembly. It has been dismantled into 5 manageable pieces with easy reassembly with 6 metal plates and screws as well as 8 joining screws to secure the unit components. It is in excellent condition and was originally £9900 new. Item will not fit in to our new home as we are down sizing.
