With this Extender you can use up to 70m of high quality inexpensive Cat.5e 6 cable to connect a DVI source to a DVI display device. The slim RJ45 connectors and Cat.6 cable (not included) allow greater flexibility not possible with larger DVI connectors and cables. Easy to set up and install the compact Lindy LC Fibre Optic DVI D Extender is the most cost effective, high quality solution on the market for sending DVI D signals over incredible distances. Send DVI D signals without compression or any degradation over standard LC duplex multimode (50 125 m) fibre cable up to 500m (not included) or up to an incredible 1500m using a LC duplex singlemode (9 125 m) fibre optic cable. DVI D control over a single cable! The extender system comprises two modules, a transmitter and a receiver, which are connected directly to both the DVI D source and display. The modules are then connected together using a single, standard 'off the shelf' LC Fibre cable fibre optic cable (not included). As standard the extender modules are directly attached to the DVI source and display equipment however if this is not possible due to space limitations or port orientations then the modules may be connected using DVI D extension cables.
