This is a front mount intercooler kit for the Mk1 MX5 with either the 1.6 or 1.8 engine. The mounts supplied bolt to existing points on the car so no drilling is required but you will need to remove the AC condensor. Originally designed to fit with our turbo kit that uses the garrett turbo it is likely that this will need to be adapted slightly to fit to the location of your turbo. The rest of the kit will bolt straight up. The aluminium 2.5″ charge pipe between the intercooler and the throttle body has a flange already welded to it that takes the 50mm TIAL type BOV and a boss for a 3/8 NPT temp sensor which is used by most aftermarket ECU’s.
