Very likely in need of some attention to get working fully. Some prongs don’t seem to connect with back and get stuck. Should be an easy fix if you know what you’re doing as in very nice condition. Case has slight crack on corner and it is quite difficult to remove the typewriter from the case. This Imperial 58 Typewriter Vintage Antique could be used as a display item/prop. Dates from 1930's and was made in Leicester, England. My dad actually worked at Imperial Typewriter in 1968. It has been stored under its original leather cover, which has perished and the typewriter has some rust in places, please see all photos. It has not been tested if working properly as the ribbon is too dry. The keys all move and seem to be functional, The leather cover is now in poor condition and very worn and cracked. The typewriter is very heavy so it will be collection only from Leicester ( literally 3 streets away from East Park Road)
