In this version of the Underground map H C Beck uses circles to indicate interchange stations. The 60 degree angles used on the previous edition of the diagram have been redrawn as 45 degree lines or changed to vertical or horizontal lines, these include the Northern end of the Northern line, the District line between Mark Lane and Whitechapel and the District line to Richmond and Wimbledon.
