The celexon UHD Optical Fibre HDMI cable is HDMI 2.1 compliant and thus transmits signals at up to 48 Gbps with resolutions up to 8K (7680x4320p 60Hz with up to 12 bit colour depth) and 4K (4096x2160p 120Hz with up to 12 bit colour depth).The hybrid fibre optic cable with 4 glass fibres and 8 copper wires enables interference free transmission of high data rates even over very long distances. For this purpose, the electrical signal in the 'Source' connector is converted into light pulses, which are transmitted via the optical fibres to the 'Display' connector, where they are converted back into an electrical signal.
