BUT in any other mode, any photos taken are just very dark. It does seem ot use the flash more than I'd expect, but still works if you keep the flash pressed down in full auto mode.

D50 body only no battery or charger included, I had purchased a battery for this but it’s lost in another dimension! Basically it does switch on ( even more so with a battery!) slap a lens on it focuses full menu on rear lcd screen shutter fires accordingly to exposure set but image saved is a black screen every time! Have no idea what’s wrong but the body is in excellent shape and apart from those totally black images it takes works like a digital camera should ! Update, I found the battery for it and it’s taking a full charge and is included
