The window was delivered with a small dent on the outside metal bar. The bars are decorative only and have been glued on the glass. Unfortunately the bar became slightly bent and due to the location (inner city terraced house, facing pavement and street) I had to replace the whole window. Velux provided me with a replacement window. As you can see on the pictures, the bar has only come off the window a little bit. I’m sure the bars can either be removed entirely, or the affected bar can be glued back on to the glass. Otherwise the window is as new. The retail price was £1530 for the window.
