Raw cut/raw material means not yet 100% precisely cut side/edges. The veneer with fleece is simply processed like any other veneer (e.g. glued, ironed, pressed, pressed, contact adhesive ...) and comes/remains on the lower or back, veneer blade is delivered without glue. If you illuminate this veneer from behind, the dark grain appears great.
