This one is priced cheaper because it has a flicker on the freeview, it does not appear on VHS DVD or Hard drive playback - so for copying VHS tapes this is ideal, if the freeview is important I have others for sale and this might not be the one for you.

This is not a fault of the player and is by design. Although when you are preforming the VHS To DVD function your Video tape will display perfectly fine through HDMI, so you can preform transfers from whichever connection you prefer.
