This is a large Swedish housekeepers cupboard dating from the 1800s. It has two double cupboards, each with double doors and internal shelves. The doors each have a single panel and are pained in traditional style inside. The top of the cupboard has a shaped cornice and it stands on a flat base. The cupboard is in good solid condition, it stands level and straight and the wood is in good order. It has that slightly whiter look that Swedish pine has. The doors all work as they should and secure with a toggle catch. Please note this is one piece so if you’re interested please check measurements to get it where you want it. Superb large housekeepers pine cupboard/dresser with glazed bookcase top. Good fair condition for age and use, nicks and surface wear as pictured. Bit shoogily so could be reinforced or simply attached to wall for support as was previously. All original, very appealing genuine rustic look. Shelves are not original but match brilliantly - these are adjustable, some with original fittings, some screws! Knob broken off for bottom cupboard door at some point, a replacement easily found. It has cupboard doors with chicken wire installed to them on the top pair and the bottom cupboards are closed panels. This is a wonderful solid wood corner unit with lots of internal storage space. As such it has a couple of cut outs in the back for wiring lights (all removed now).
