This radio has been amongst my attic clutter for some five or six decades, and I've decided that it is now time to let have a chance of some loving restoration at the hands of someone who knows what they are doing!

Vintage bakelite valve radio by Murphy Radio Ltd, Hertfordshire, England. Circa 1950. Valves all intact. Serial number- 138434. Untested and unsure if working. Please note: There is a snapped fin on the clear plastic trim at the front. See picture - would not affect use. To the back there are 2 screws missing to the back plate (there should be 4, there are only 2). The radio has a modern cable and three point plug. This has been added at some point. Inside, the valves are all intact but the aerial cable appears to be missing. Untested and unsure if working, would advise to get it checked by a professional before trying to use due to its age. Would also make a great display for a house or vintage film prop.
