  4. The Beatles Please Please Me UK PMC1202 Mono 3rd Pressing UK Vinyl LP

Good copy of the 3rd Pressing of Please Please Me by The Beatles. I have seen sellers passing off later pressings as 3rd pressings and even 3rd pressings in later sleeves. This is the real deal. pmc 1202 1N sides 1 and 2 No 33 1/3 on labels MT tax stamp on Side 1 original Emitex inner sleeve vinyl thick enough to stop a bullet large mono top right of sleeve Angus McBean credit to the right of the last s in songs. The record itself has numerous handling marks but plays well and clear. Good strong mono recording. However, there it a slight jump just after the guitar solo in I saw her standing there. Outer sleeve has signs of sellotape having been used on the edges. Not a perfect copy but still a good copy of a very rare and collectable album.

  7. The Beatles | The Decca Tapes | Black Vinyl LP

A fascinating snapshot of The Beatles at a pivotal moment, this 180 gram LP features the famously rejected audition tape recorded on New Year's Day 1962, with Pete Best on drums. These are the recordings that prompted the now-notorious line sent to Brian Epstein: “guitar groups are on their way out” — a judgement tied to what may well be one of the great missteps in rock n' roll history. An essential piece of early Beatles history, capturing the band before everything changed.
