This is a student violin with case and bow. The violin body itself is in decent condition with no visible cracks. It has colored fingerboard stickers, which are helpful for beginners. The fittings (chinrest, tailpiece, and fine tuners) are intact, and the bridge is in place. Condition notes: • The bow hair is completely worn out and unusable – it will need to be rehaired or replaced. • The strings are old and should be replaced for the best sound. • This is a basic student/entry-level instrument, not a professional one. Included: • Violin • Case with soft lining • Bow (needs new hair) With some new strings and a working bow, this violin will be suitable for a beginner or as a practice instrument.

I bought this second hand a few months ago with the intention of learning but sadly have not got very far. It's a lovely instrument but my time is taken up with various other musical instruments! It's a full size 4/4 Stentor Arcadia and is a nicely made violin, Stentors top of the range I believe. It's in a lovely antiqued finish and has a nice flame to the back and sides. It's in excellent condition and ready to go. There is one small scuff on the back which I have shown but otherwise it's pretty much mint. Included is the bow, case, shoulder rest, rosin, peg lube, and string damper, all shown in the photos. It will be well packaged and insured for transit, and comes from a pet and smoke free home.
