Body: Double cutaway. Country of original: United Kingom (England). Year of manufacture: 1968. In good original condition, playing well with a comfortable action. Save for the 2 knobs, this one is wholly original and even retains the soft case it was originally supplied with.

The reason for my parting with this splendid guitar is that I'm suffering with arthritic hands and playing is quite painful. Based on the famous Watkins Rapier guitars of the 1960's Alan Entwhistle has improved stability and tonality to a high standard.

A super rare, iconic British piece of music history - an English-made Watkins Rapier Bass, dating from 1965. There is the odd mark which I have pictured, which I’ll forgive given the guitar’s age. Unlike many guitars of this period, this bass has a beautiful, fat C profiled neck and is a joy to play.

For sale is a Watkins Rapier guitar I don't know the exact year but It's around 1961/1962 as it is an early model without a truss rod. The action is a little on the high side but that is because of the neck not having a truss rod though is still playable.

Built between 1963 - 1968, this one is a very early model, as you can see from the serial ‘824’ on the back of the headstock. Pickguard is damaged, sold as seen.

Watkins Rapier 44 electric guitar made in England in roughly 1964. The pickup screws have been replaced with modern screws and springs to make it more functional. The original tremolo bar will be included with the guitar, but it has had a new tremolo bar installed as the old one was quite loose.
eBay
Serial number 5367. The Rapier 33 has an extra pickup in a slanted middle position.
