This is a handsome cWW2 vintage pair of wooden bookends each having a matching trench art type chrome plated Spitfire aircraft mounted on each of the bookends.The wood appears to be made from polished oak and the aeroplanes have been well modelled and then mounted using one screw.The actual aeroplanes measurements are 11.7cm long x 14.1cm wide x 2.3cm deep.The wooden bookends measurements are 15cm long x 12.6cm tall x 12.5cm wide.
