I am not familiar with keyboards, but all they keys work when pressed. The screen is quite dark. I raised the brightness to full and adjusted the contrast, but still quite dull. The picture I took where you can see the screen contents was in very low light, the rest of the pictures the screen is on but as you can see, it is quite dark.
