The Myenergi Zappi 7kw Car Charger is a high-quality charging solution for electric and hybrid vehicles. With a 7kW charging rate, this charger is designed Untethered. It trips at high charging speeds but works fine up to c 4-5kw (didn’t test all import settings but had it charger up to 4.5 on solar + import for several hours). So it’s set to a max import setting to avoid tripping. From what I understand from looking into it it’s a resistor gone bad , which some have sorted by soldering a new part onto the PCB for less than 20 quid. No fault codes. Soldering this is beyond me so I bought a new one. It has a new coms unit . Charger unit only (no CT clamps).

Lock cable to prevent ev charger cable theft. Provided with ability to secure to wall but cable 40cm in length allowing no drill option by looping around charger supply cable if visible as shown on photos. Lock is not provided. Steel cable 3mm wire rope , well worth it vs risk of cable theft. Picture shown is a zappi and quite easy to take cable when car is not charging.
