This auction is for a rare Microscope candle fan in fitted box.It has a brass base and silk fan.It is in excellent condition with a little wear to bottom of fan.Base is adjustable and stands 16” without fan.Fan measures 12” across.The box is marked C.W. DIXEY Optician to the Queen 3 New Bond street London.It was made in 1860.The company is still in business originally started in 1777.It weighs 457 gm.Boxhas some wear on edges.Inside is excellent.
