I have only ever personally seen two other examples of these 612 model mics before. I believe they were only sold for a couple years as I have never seen them listed in any other E.V catalog except the one I have from 1946.

I'm not quite sure when he changed out the 654 with another model but he would use this 654 for several years on every show. It slides smoothly and works perfectly. The tone on these mics are quite nice when working properly and this example is in excellent working condition.

You are looking at a unique older Electro Voice model 911 crystal microphone based on the similar 611 dynamic version that was sold for about 10 years during the 1950's before the design changed around 1960 and eventually discontinued around 1970.

This is the Electro Voice 926 model crystal microphone which closely resembles the E.V 623 model. I don't know the model # that Knight gave this microphone as there is very little info on them. It should be noted that this 926 like most of that era no longer works.

You are looking at a rare variant of the more common 1940's era 726 model made by Electro Voice. This is the Rauland Borg Type 1248 BL model sold under contract through the Rauland Borg Corporation based out of Chicago, Illinois.

A smaller ribbon mic made by E.V and certainly one of the most unique. The E.V label looks pretty damn nice too. The V-1 sits on it's original yoke / swivel and it works nicely allowing just the right amount of tension and desired angle.

"The 644 is a highly directional "shotgun" dynamic microphone, which greatly extends frontal pickup on the microphone axis. This very specialrare gold version, in testing, provides clean.
