These mics originally employed a crystal pickup, but in most cases age and humidity took it's toll and most either weakened or died. This one is one of the few exceptions and stillproduces strong output, slightly favoring midrange.

No issues. Simply attach any longer XLR cable of choice to operate the mic. Again, the exterior black foam pop filter is included. It really does help to clean up the sound of the mic. It has a grittier tone that is void of bass so it's good for HAM radio operation and even better as a harp mic.

You are looking at an older Electro Voice model 950 "Cardax" crystal cardioid microphone. I'd rate the output at just 25%. Too weak to use for any practical purpose. The mic is better off being used for display, prop or repair purposes.

You are looking at a classic Electro Voice model 920 "Spherex" microphone. This model was widely produced by Electro Voice during the 1950's through 1970's. No dents or engravings but there are just the tiniest of scratches and scuff marks.

It slides smoothly and works perfectly. The signal sounds very nice but it should be noted that the mic has been tested and no longer works. This should be used for display, prop or repair purposes only.

The V1 was part of the "V-Series" which included the V1, V2 and V3, with the V1 being the smaller of the series. This one has been very well maintained over the years and looks great in its original form.
