    There is no difference between the 1246 BL & the E.V 630 model. The badge on the mic is the only physical difference. You don't see too many of these 1246 BL models and this one is a real gem. It has a grittier tone that is void of bass so it's good for HAM radio operation and even better as a harp mic.

  8. Vintage 1960's Electro Voice 641 dynamic microphone Lo Z w Atlas DS-2 stand 638

    Pic # 2 is from an old E.V catalog showing the 641 and 638 model and it's characteristics. Again, t his 641 has a Low impedance setting with a non-working signal. The 641 was omni-directional. These mics have a very mid century vibe as well that really stands out.
