There is no difference between the 1246 BL & the E.V 630 model. The badge on the mic is the only physical difference. You don't see too many of these 1246 BL models and this one is a real gem. It has a grittier tone that is void of bass so it's good for HAM radio operation and even better as a harp mic.

You are looking at a very nice older general purpose microphone made by Electro Voice in the late 1940's. This model was widely produced by Atlas from the late 1940's to present though this is an earlier 1950's model.

It's lite weight for it's size and easy to grasp. The on / off switch works excellent and slides smoothly. It's in very nice condition and has a ton of technical info on the PL76. It will screw onto any desk or floor stand you have.
