Otherwise both microphones were basically identical. You'll see in pic # 2 the PL-91 model with it's basic characteristics. This PL-91 has a very nice sound and quite strong too with 100% output. A warm, smooth tone that has just the right amount of bass.

The 606 is a bit of an obscure model and was similar to the 605 both in size and sound but the 606 had a side vent that could allow you to manipulate the tone of the mic. These make great harp mics and while this mic has been tested and still works, the signal strength is very low.
