This 19th century tie silk quilt top is a stunning example of the period around 1860 -1890. In excellent condition for its age. Needs minor repairs. For the most part the fabrics pieces are good with a few exceptions of torn or worn pieces. This beauty really belongs displayed on a large wall, but it would look beautiful in any Victorian setting The first photo shows it spread on a queen-sized bed to help you visualize it. Antique hand stitched Log Cabin Barn Raising quilt/blanket from an estate in Wallingford, Ct. This is the 3rd of the lot. Was told the first two were from the 1850s and they were uncertain about this one. This one is 65” x 94”. It has damage, as shown in photos. The stitching is unique on this one. It’s uneven by design. It’s heavy and needs repair. Comes from a smoke free home. Sold as is. Thanks for looking:)
